The spaces — a sanctuary, a fellowship hall, a nursery — each have distinct cleaning requirements. And the people who use the building have a different relationship with it than workers in a commercial office. Sanctuary & Worship Space Cleaning
Pew wiping, floor care (carpet vacuuming or hard surface mopping), platform and altar areas, glass and entry doors, kneelers, and restrooms used during services. Scheduled around service times — most commonly Saturday afternoons.

Post-event floor care, table and chair wipe-down, kitchen surface sanitation, stovetop and appliance wipe-down, trash removal, and restroom cleaning. Typically scheduled after Wednesday evening events or Sunday dinners.

High-touch surface disinfection, toy and soft furnishing wipe-down, floor care, trash removal, and restroom cleaning in children’s areas. Higher disinfection frequency than adult common areas.

Most churches combine two or three of these lines in a single contract. A common arrangement for a mid-sized congregation is weekly sanctuary and restroom cleaning plus a post-event fellowship hall clean twice a month, with nursery cleaning on the same schedule as the sanctuary. We quote multi-service contracts as a single monthly figure.
